A nice piece of WW2 Australian made kit in great to mint condition with the Department of Defence stamp.

Listed is a WWII Bren MG Spare Barrel and parts Bag made in 1944 by R.M.B LTD.

R.M.B stands for Ruskin Motor Bodies Pty. Ltd which was a Melbourne based factory who produced vehicle parts.

The Austin Motor Company later took over Ruskin, changing its name to Austin Motor Co. (Australia) Ltd in 1948 and after the merger of Austin & Morris to form the British Motor Corporation plant and equipment were transferred to the B.M.C. plant at Victoria Park racecourse in Sydney and later production moved to Sydney.

An identical bag is currently listed be a well respected dealer for $190!
