Finnish M40/55 Helmet (UK004)
Finnish M40/55 Helmet.
These helmets were manufactured in Germany under contract for Finland during World War II, when Finland fought alongside Germany against the Soviet Union.
Officially designated the Finnish M40/55, they remained in service into the 1980s, with postwar supplies continuing after the war. This helmet features a Finnish leather liner and chinstrap. The shell has no visible markings, and the liner is marked size 58.
