WWII German-Made, Postwar Reissued M40 Helmet
This is a World War II–period German M40 helmet bearing the manufacturer’s stamp “EF 64,” identifying it as a product of Emaillierwerke A.G. in Fulda.
The helmet bears lot number 22138, indicating that it was manufactured in early 1941. It has been repainted, fitted with a replacement Finnish postwar liner, and subsequently reissued.
