USS Blackfin (SS-322), a Balao-class submarine in commission from 1944 to 1948 and from 1951 to 1972, was a ship of the United States Navy named for the blackfin cisco, a food fish of the Great Lakes.

The lighter is made by “ALCO” which was a Japanese lighter maker.

The lighter shell is in fair condition with some signs of wear and surface marks.

The flint is working but requires a new wick.

It is a unique piece of history, perfect for display.
